Custom Battery Packs Types
We are able to make up many custom battery packs using almost any battery chemistry you can think of. Some examples of the more commonly used battery technologies include Alkaline, Ni-Mh, & Ni-Cd. We can make any number of packs from the smallest of jobs to the largest.
We offer a full design and refurbishment service for your battery needs, using specialist manufacturing machinery, techniques and tools to ensure a quality product such as:
- Spot Welding Machines - ensure a solid connection between cells without damaging the battery
- Automatic Cutting Machine - for automatic cutting of heat shrink sleeving, wire and nickel strip
- Test equipment - including Cadex Battery analysers which completely analyse and condition the battery pack with a printed report on the battery condition.
- Labelling - custom labelling facility.
- Solder - solder is used when attaching wires or components to the battery pack. We never solder directly onto the batteries as the direct heat damages the batteries and creates a real risk of fire or explosion.
Many other components and customised options are available including: Fly leads, connectors, solder tabs, PCB pins, thermal protection and Current Protection just to name a few. We use customised Jigs where size, shape and dimensions are crucial.
